To receive a kit, contact the College&#8217;s Center for Registration and Guidance by completing the online form through &#8220;contact us&#8221; at jce.ac.il or by telephone at +972-26588087 or via email to\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"mailto:leads@jce.ac.il\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">leads@jce.ac.il<\/a>, including the following information:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">First and last name<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mailing address<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mobile telephone number<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\"><strong>Confirmation of Registration<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Upon application submission to the College through the center for registration and guidance, all applicant details are entered into the registration system, including matriculation and psychometric exam scores, English level, preferences within the Engineering department, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Simultaneously, the College will send a confirmation of registration to the applicant. After receiving this confirmation, the applicant must confirm that all details are correct and notify the center for registration and guidance of any corrections.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\"><strong>Selection of Applicants<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Center of Registration and Guidance reviews all applications.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Stage 1<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Applicants who meet the acceptance criteria for specific engineering departments are automatically accepted to that department.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">This automatic acceptance to the department does not indicate automatic acceptance to other College academic departments. Eligibility for acceptance to each department is evaluated separately.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Stage 2<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The applications of applicants who do not meet the criteria of the departments they have requested are transferred to the College&#8217;s acceptance committee. The acceptance committee considers the applicant&#8217;s acceptance to the requested department as a first choice and to the departments the applicant listed as second and third choices.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Stage 3<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">After the completion of the review, an answer is sent to the applicant as to their full acceptance, conditional acceptance, and the relevant conditions, or the recommendation for enrollment in a pre-academic preparatory program or rejection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Applicants who have been accepted and are interested in changing their preferences for the engineering department must update the center for registration and guidance in writing. The request will be sent to the acceptance committee for additional time if required.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\"><strong>Withdrawal of Application<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Applicants interested in withdrawing their application must inform the center for registration and guidance in writing. Application fees are non-refundable.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\"><strong>Acceptance to an Engineering Department<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Acceptance decisions are facilitated in two ways:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Automatic acceptance follows the meeting of criteria published in College materials and on the College website. The requirements are updated annually and are subject to change.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Request by an applicant who does not meet the automatic acceptance criteria is transferred to the acceptance committee.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The acceptance committee may make the following decisions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Full acceptance of the applicant<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Conditional acceptance of the applicant as indicated in the acceptance letter<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Awaiting the scores from additional exams the applicant must take (external matriculation exams, psychometric exam scores, and others)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Recommendation to the applicant to study at the College in a pre-academic preparatory program specifically developed for the study of engineering.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Each applicant receives a letter indicating the committee&#8217;s decision.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\"><strong>Implementation of Acceptance<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Applicants accepted to the College will receive notification and a voucher for the first payment: a deposit for tuition. Payment of a deposit serves as confirmation by the applicant of intent to enroll at the College and secures a place for the student in the department to which they have been accepted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Applicants accepted on the condition of passing preparatory courses in mathematics or physics shall pay for the preparatory courses and a deposit for tuition to secure a place at the College. Applicants who were conditionally accepted and have not met the conditions will not be commencing their studies at the College and will be refunded their deposit for tuition. Failure to pay the deposit may result in cancellation of acceptance to the department and transfer of the applicant&#8217;s place to another student. Students who have requested scholarship assistance or loans from the student aid department shall also pay the deposit regardless of receipt of financial aid. Students will receive a refund if their account shows a credit.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\"><strong>Changing department preference<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Applicants who have paid the deposit have their place secured in the department to which they have been accepted. Applicants accepted to another department listed as their second or third choice and who have paid the deposit will be registered in the department listed as their next preference after their first choice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Applicants who have been accepted to more than one department and wish to change their department preference shall indicate the name of the department they would like to study on their deposit voucher.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\"><strong>The applicant must inform the center for registrations and guidance in writing of any changes in preference.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 14pt;color: #000000\"><strong>Cancellation- Preparatory Courses<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Cancellation policy for all preparatory courses, which include mathematics, physics, programming, and chemistry<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Students who wish to cancel their registration in the preparatory course until two weeks before the course&#8217;s start date are eligible to receive a full refund of payment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Students who cancel registration within two weeks from the course start date or one week after the course start date are eligible to receive a 50% payment refund.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Students who cancel a registration after the first week of the course are not eligible for a refund.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;font-size: 12pt\"><strong>Notice of cancellation of registration for preparatory courses must be submitted in writing and via registered mail or personally delivered by the applicant or a representative with power of attorney.
